Leila Colette is a french/persian wordsmith who grew up in the UK. She draws inspiration from the positive and painful events she has been through to write spoken word poetry, often to moody beats she creates alongside collaborators. This results in sometimes dark but witty pieces around topics such as hardship, addiction, rape, suicide. Alongside comical spoken words on sex, love and the bright side of life. This has been her therapy and a way of focusing her inner light which she is now ready to share with the world.
