My mission is to help pianists break free from sheet music and become confident improvisers and composers. Improvisation isn’t just for the naturally gifted. Too many musicians feel stuck playing only what’s written, unsure of how to make music their own. But improvisation and composition aren’t mysteries—they’re skills that anyone can learn with the right approach. I teach jazz piano, music theory, and composition in a way that makes creativity feel natural, not overwhelming. Instead of drowning in complex theory, I focus on practical skills that help pianists improvise with confidence and start composing their own music. When I’m not teaching, I perform around the world and compose music for film, video games, and live performances. My work has been featured in projects on Amazon Prime and performed by musicians across the globe. I hold bachelor's and master's degrees in classical piano, jazz piano, and jazz composition from the University of North Texas.
