"Leave Home Roam Alone" is NOT your average travel channel on YouTube. What began as simple vacation guiding adventures and uncovering abandoned desert gems quickly took a turn when I stumbled into a place called Slab City. This place is all over YouTube and opinions about it vary. As a travel content creator, I wanted to visit Slab City in person. The original idea was to stay for a weekend but after those short couple of days, you will feel at home. You’d think that there are nice people who will convince you that YouTube has it ALL WRONG about this place. After all, how could it really be lawless with all the Sheriff running around? Allegedly, the truth about Slab City started to emerge after 6 months. Establishing a community service camp on Coachella Canal Road seemed like a good idea at first. Little would you know how easily a person could be stepping on someone’s toes with my FREE Community Water Tanks, Food Operation and Give Away's. As Bo Keely would say: the rest is history.
