  This channel has evolved in a great way. Less rant. More incredibly understandable content. I attended a Floyd Toole seminar in the 90&apos;s at a trade show. I learned more in 90 minutes than I ever thought possible. I still have the info packet with hand drawn examples of wave propagation etc. I still use as reference &nbsp;material.

  I finally changed from an 11 foot, velvet overstuffed couch to a leather fully tufted 10 foot Chesterfield couch. &nbsp;It greatly improved the bass response in resolution/texture below 100 hz. &nbsp;Seating was more secure rather than sunken while at the same effective seat height. &nbsp; There are sooooo many room variables, even in my great listening room but the speaker that has superior dispersion really helps.

  Best sound I had, ever had .. was a decent 12 volt portable system ( tape player thing) in my old 3.5t van with an old pair of proper speakers... <br>Parked up in a field, &nbsp;still misty night , Gong Shamal playing, sitting 50ft away.... wow.... not even smoking weed. <br>Outdoor listening is brilliant 😊

  Thanks for the useful, common sense information! &nbsp;Watching me doing a sub crawl, my spouse thought I wasn&apos;t playing with a full deck. Pulling the speakers four feet into the living room, she knew I was off my rocker and stated the common sense thing to do was to not having something to trip over in the middle of the night to avoid breaking a hip. &nbsp;Hard to argue with that. &nbsp;I&apos;m putting up homemade absorption panels on the walls to reduce the reflections in the space.
