  Btw The Red Death has the Alpha command which is what Toothless responded to in the movie but it's not mind control as that's a Bewilderbeast specific ability, despite them having the same sound :/ Perhaps there are similarities or a link between the abilities, more research is needed!

  I feel like the reason many dragons don’t really fit their classes is because none of them were evolutionarily designed to fit certain classes, it’s just a thing that Vikings did to categorize them

  As a biology student trying so hard to understand the constantly changing field of taxonomy and phylogeny. I really wish just like in the dragon world we could put things in multiple of the same level categories for convenience.

  honestly if the mystery class didnt exist i would definetly put the zippleback here not only because its simular to the nightmare just with flammable gas instead of gel but in httyd2 weve seen them coat themselves in fire and roll across the ground like a flaming spindash

  With the smaller ones being Shadow Wings, I call the big ones Shadow Casters. However I think the smaller ones could be instead called Shadow Bombers or Shadow Darts. Additionally, I use 10 classes, one of which is Fear for devious and sneaky dragons, and this includes both species, as well as Zipplebacks, Changewings, Snaptrappers, and Smokebreaths, among others. However, I did some thinking and, with the possibility of Shadow Casters spewing flaming clouds of smoke, I moved those to Stoker and the Shadow Bombers to Strike.

  I suspect the reason why the Night Terror is Stoker is just because its a close relative of the Terrible Terror and is similar to it, so it was put in the same class<br><br>Side note I really feel like we need a “Toxic Class” for all the numerous dragons whose entire existence hinges around their toxins. Like, Slitherwings aren’t really all that mysterious, Threadtails don’t do anything with fire, but their primary characteristics are their venom which has no associated class. I think the only reason there isn’t one is because in the books it was just a baseline assumption that dragons were venomous, hence why its one of the main variables used to arbitrarily categorize dragons. But that whole system is silly, and I feel like it would fix a lot of the issues with the current class system if we just made a venom class.
