First off, your hair is gorgeous. I wore a beautiful white princess dress to two proms, mine and my sweetie's. I can't even imagine wearing one of the formal dresses that they wear today.

Hi Jen! I went to a Baptist Christian school, so there was no dancing or prom😭😭😭I see a couple of people in the comments had the same experience, so now I don't feel like such a weirdo lol😂🤣

No prom for this Baptist girl at the time.
That dress was beautiful. I think you wore it for Jr. Miss.
oh yes. Her dresses were very “princess”.
Homecoming & sadie Hawkins were differnt.
I wear dresses a lot. I had one on today until it got too hot. Sundays are dress day. But you know your momma is the “girlie girl”! 😊
And btw. Your brother has been selling like crazy on eBay. We may now be the reselling family!!❤
Scrap life is us. 😊

Custom floor length burgundy gown with puff sleeves, trimmed with white lace and a white satin belt. Can you say 80s prom dress!

I went to a religious school and we didn’t have prom, we had a banquet which didn’t include dancing. I went all four years and my favorite dress was a borrowed floor length one shoulder cream colored dress, elegant and understated. I had a deep tan and I looked pretty cute! I still have a photo torn down the middle to remove my then-boyfriend! I wish we could share photos in the comments lol!

You got me thinking about your and Alex wedding...I would love to see a wedding photo if you are both okay with it? My prom dress was 1980's form fitting black mermaid style which I accessorized with red shoes and red clutch...OMG...🙂

Goodwill has contracts. For clothes i know certain textiles in Kansas go to a manufacturer who makes rags. Different states each run as a separate business and have different contracts or agreements, ways to recycle most items so they don't go straight to a landfill.
