The Native American bounty hunter's motivation seems to be not just blind altruism for a stranger but also reaching his limit of tolerance for the casual racism and exploitation he faces regularly (we can assume). He is a sellout whose conscience Willa awakens.

Sean Penn walking into his “office “reminds of the scene in “Goodfellas” when Joe Pesci’s character walks into the room thinking he’s about to become a made man and instead he gets killed.

Benicio Del Toro is such a phenomenal actor. His range is undefeated. Like how is this man Sensei and Alejandro from Sicario😂

Your description of this movie feeling like you just watched as entire season of a series is spot on.

Fun fact: in Hungarian there’s an extra nuance that comes from translation: Christmas Adventurers Club literally becomes Karácsonyi Kalandorok Klubja (KKK).

During December, they had a theatrical re-release and made a new poster with the tagline "are you up for a Christmas Adventure?" with a new trailer starting with "All I Want For Christmas Is..." 🤣🤣

For me, the one who steals the show here is Sean Penn—that sociopathic, eccentric character is brilliant, even darkly funny at times. It’s no wonder he won an Oscar for this role; it was well deserved.

PTA gets outstanding performances from his actors but I can't remember this many great performances from so many actors. DiCaprio's best performance since Wolf of Wall St, Penn's best performance in like 2 decades, Del Toro giving another masterclass performance, Infiniti and Taylor are both at the top of people's call sheets after their performances. Just incredible
