  I never post on these things even though I am a youtube junkie. &nbsp;This channel blew me away. &nbsp;I&apos;m an old guy whose father was german and mother the youngest of an Italian family with 9 children. &nbsp;Big garden, busy kitchen, large family. &nbsp;To get together we had to reserve a place in a public park. &nbsp;Everything of value I learned in life I learned from my grandparents who could not read or write or speak English. &nbsp;I love this channel because of Ava&apos;s cooking which is the way I learned to cook but because of the german in me I have recorded my recipes in metric so I can experiment to get it right and then easily scale the amounts. &nbsp;I just shared the channel with relatives I have not talked to in years and of course they already watch it. &nbsp;My grandmother&apos;s brother&apos;s offspring are in Rosa, Calabria. &nbsp;I love this channel.

  Re: Stocco, the first time I was really sure my girlfriend loved me was when we went to my grandparent&apos;s house for dinner. &nbsp;My grandmother misheard, and thought Heather liked fish. &nbsp;She ate a dinner of fish items and never said a word. &nbsp;She has been my wife for 42 years now.

  Eva, we Italians learn to cook because we love to eat. Harper not liking Bacala is final proof that he is NOT Italian, however we still love him too. Great episode!

  One of the charms of your show is that you are &quot;real&quot; and not AI generated. The second I hear an AI voiceover on YouTube, I immediately turn it off. I can&apos;t take the sloppy pronunciations.
