  I&apos;ve gotten several cheap ones from Harbor Freight and they are still functional but I never torture them like you do for testing. &nbsp;Before any tool purchases we check your channel - it&apos;s a life saver (or at least a time saver). &nbsp;Thank you!

  The most disappointing thing is that even the &quot;trustworthy&quot; brands have no consistency - they just switch production to whichever offshore sweatshop is most profitable for them, and leave the customer rolling the dice on whether their product is gonna be as good as it was yesterday.

  Step bits where developed by the Original Vise Grip brand in Dewitt Nebraska I own the drill press and load cells they used to develop and test lots of different designs. Sadly once the original company was sold it was moved to China. I bought the drill press at the close out auction.
