  when i was young, i didnt like social media because i thought it was cringe and stupid and now i wish i could travel back in time and hug myself because i just SAVED MY ENTIRE LIFE

  As a young person in gen z, I can’t even have interesting friends bc all they do is scroll through TikTok for hours and they’re so boring with zero real personality or talent. It honestly feels like younger generations are brainwashed by screens and mindless scrolling.

  I&apos;m a Gen Z and of social media I only use Youtube and whatsapp, no facebook, no Instagram, 2 or 3 friends IRL and I&apos;m living a happy life knowing that 3 real friends are worth than thousands of fake ones online.

  People think it’s stupid to be addicted to social media, but an addiction is definined by something that becomes a dependency that interrupts daily life. You are not ridiculous for having any kind of addiction, and there is someone who can help out there ❤

  Gen Z ain’t that far gone, we still had a childhood, we still had toys, we still had imagination. Gen alpha are the ones that are cooked.

  This is honestly why my school enacted an anti cellphone policy. For 5-6 hours a day, i get to be phone free and keep my mind clear. Then when i get home, i get 3-4 hours of playing games. I dont even use social media much

  Me personally I don’t hate social media, I think it has been handy for a lot of things that we should give credit for. But when people go down the rabbit hole of all the negativity really does in fact make people feel out of touch. You can say that it’s like a double edged sword.

  As a Gen Z, I grew up without social media and instead grew up with the outside world and video games. I didn&apos;t get social media until I was an adult really, but I only use it to look at things Im interested in, not doomscroll for hours on end.
