  A “bad reaction” to marijuana can manifest as paranoia. &nbsp;She could very well have been fleeing from imaginary pursuers. <br>Most likely explanation:<br>1. Guy gives girl weed and alcohol<br>2. Girl has bad reaction. <br>3. Guy brings girl back to her hallway, and goes back to partying. <br>4. Girl becomes paranoid and begins running from imaginary pursuers. <br>5. Girl enters trash shoot, and falls to her death. <br>6. DA and Police do not pursue charges, preferring to let the story die.

  Weed and alcohol can absolutely cause that level of panic attack/psychosis, IF you have bipolar disorder and are on medication for it. My best friend had to spend the night strapped to a gurney in the ER after finding that out the hard way. I don&apos;t remember which medication she&apos;d been on, but regardless, that clearly doesn&apos;t seem to be the case here, and the suspicious actions of authorities really does make one feel like something far more sinister was involved. Good on you for calling attention to this, because I cannot IMAGINE what it must be like for her poor family, knowing only that her last minutes alive were filled with such terror and confusion. They deserve answers.

  If she was feeling sick, is it possible she was running to the trash chute to throw up? With the chute being that low and the position you&apos;d need to take to vomit, it seems feasible that someone sick and unsteady on their feet could have fallen.<br><br>If they really think it was an accident, it surprises me that nothing was done to secure that trash chute to avoid further accidents. THAT&apos;s neglience.

  I come from a family of heavy cannabis users, my parents, brother, boyfriend, and most of my friends smoke. I however can’t, if I smoke I will hallucinate or have horrible full body reactions to it such as muscle spasms. I don’t doubt someone can panic and fall down a trash shoot. When I smoked and hallucinated badly I wanted to jump off the balcony of the apartment building I was at to escape the terror of the thing I perceived. It’s not hard to believe that this happened, especially with my own reaction to weed
