The Pittsburgh-Houston rivalry was really intense in 1978-1980 !!

I believe this was the first Steeler game I ever saw. I couldn't believe I was getting to see a game on Thursday night! I also couldn't believe the Steelers lost 6-0.

"The winner stays in the playoff hunt, the loser may be dead!" What an opening by Howard Cosell.

It is weird to think that John Lennon could have had this on the TV and then was murdered during their next broadcast.

Raised a Steelers Fan, but the Oilers Fans were the best during this timeframe

@3:38. The Snake. My favorite lefty quarterback during these early years of my childhood. I watched this one as it happened. 😂Steelers we’re my team. Love ya Black n’ Gold 🖤💛

Cliff Parsley was Houston's #1 weapon in this game. Thanks for sharing.

55:40. The only time I’ve ever seen an armadillo on the field. These were the days when the NFL was awesome. Before Roger Goodell and the players union destroyed it.
