Several years ago I was in a local hardware store here in NC. Not Lowe’s, a small local place. I was waiting to get a key made and there were some chairs so I sat down and started talking to this old guy hanging out there. He was deadpan fun. I introduced myself and he said I’m Harry Galifianakis. I said I don’t want to bother you but are you Zach’s Dad. He said “well his mother claims him, but I don’t “. Then he told me proud Dad stories about his son for the next 45 minutes. I always like it when Zach mentions his Dad in interviews. He passed a few years ago, but it was cool to meet him.

Shoutout to Conan for not only posting this episode, but for letting Zach talk about some controversial stuff. I respect it.

Zach should make his own brand of garden gnomes that look exactly like him. I would buy one. And I don't even have a garden.

Zach's humility comes through in everything he does. He really seems genuine and knowledgeable and, as well as being one of the funniest people alive.

His feelings on AI are exactly mine. I'm less worried about actors losing jobs than all of us losing our minds. Biting the apple is a perfect metaphor.

Zach Galifianakis has been one of my favorites for years and then I see something like this and remember how goddamn smart and deeply concerned for the world's being he is and my respect for him just skyrockets.

I've always thought Zach is just the greatest and such a sweet guy but when he started talking about nature and our earth and how we should look after it, I have now a supersized love for him - what a sweet loving guy (and funny as hell)❤

I've never seen him do an interview where he was serious and not doing a shtick. Very refreshing.
