  I can&apos;t thank you enough for this wonderful conversation with Sir Andras, my favourite pianist. I wish I could highlight a favourite moment, but everything you discussed was eye-opening and beautiful. Zsolt is such a wonderful host, and asked such beautifully leading questions, and I am left in tears - completely moved by Schiff&apos;s reminiscences, and his personal philosophy.<br><br>Thank you so much for this. It has ignited something in me that I thought I had lost.

  what a gracious, sensitive, intelligent not to mention humorous human being is andras schiff--rare qualities that come out in his music-making. i could listen to him speak, and play piano, all day. thank you for this rich interview.

  Schiff is one of the truly important people alive today. If our so-called &quot;leaders&quot; had even a small fraction of his intelligence, taste, compassion the world would much less of the utter mess it is today.<br><br>My personal introduction to Sir Andras was at a Bach concert in Paris in 1989 that he both conducted and played. At the end of the program, he offered one encore -- the c#-minor Prelude and Fugue from Book 1 of the Well-tempered Clavier of Johann Sebastian Bach. &nbsp;If you haven&apos;t heard him play this work, you have no idea of its power. The audience, myself included, was gobsmacked. When he was finished, there was no applause for the longest time, which was the right response to what we had just heard.

  Thank you. &nbsp;Wonderful. &nbsp;How beautifully Sir András has aged. &nbsp; His grace, humour, humility and sincerity have deepened and grown. &nbsp;I was mesmerised by his Bach playing in 1988; &nbsp;now his personal traits add so much to his musicianship that the two are often as one for me. &nbsp; Thanks to both of you for this remarkable video gift.

  My personal wish is that Sir Schiff would release those live concerts that are stashed away somewhere. &nbsp;This man is a treasure.
