  This summer in Busan has been unusually dry. We’ve barely had any real rain at all.<br>At first, I didn’t think much of it. I just went about my days like I normally do. But after weeks and weeks without a good, soaking rain, the whole summer has started to feel strangely heavy and draining.<br>I never realized how much we actually need rain in the summer. There’s something refreshing about a summer rain — it cools everything down, clears the air, and somehow makes you feel better too.<br>Up north, they’ve had plenty of rain, so there’s still a lot of water flowing down the Nakdong River. The river is full, but here in Busan, the land around us just feels dry and exhausted.<br>And I think it’s starting to get to me too. Even when I’m doing absolutely nothing, I feel tired. The endless heat, the dry air, and day after day without rain just wear you down.<br>I don’t know how else to put it.<br>This summer has simply been exhausting. I really miss the rain.
