  The mom screaming at her son, saying "your actions and the people you hang with" is spot on.  Although she's coming unhinged (and I COMPLETELY understand why), it seems like she's probably tried in the past to set him straight.  That is why I hate it when people automatically blame the parent(s).  Sometimes they've tried everything under the sun and it just has not worked.  At some point the person, teen, adult, whatever, is responsible for their own behavior.

  I had a co-worker that told me 25 or so years ago, that teenagers need their parents/guidance more in their teen years than they did as toddlers!  Something I only really understood once my son reached 14 or so.

  I learned of Michael&apos;s passing from the comments here, and I had to wait a while before posting. &nbsp;Extra time did not help me think of what to say: there are no words...and no way to lessen the pain in your heart. <br><br>The love you show your son in every episode is one reason i subscribed. Your face lights up when you talk about him. Bruce, dont stop talking to him: he is still with you. The pain will ease, and you&apos;ll be able to breathe again, I promise. One breath at a time. <br><br>If you need anything, ask. If you need us to listen, we will. We are praying for you and your family to have comfort, peace, understanding, acceptance, and healing.   That&apos;s a mom who is sick of this crap happening over and over. I&apos;ve been through this with my late son, enough of this and you just want it over with. My heart goes out to her.

  I would not help my kid get away with murder. &nbsp;I think I would feel responsible for protecting any potential future victims.

  Black mom here. That mom is screaming out of pain!!!!! Shes not screaming to see if she can burst a blood vessel! She has probably gone through a lot with this child. She haa probably warned him over and over again and now look at the shit he has gotten himself into. Literally no sane person wants to see their child as a murderer!!!! This woman is pained by her kids actions.

  &quot;It&apos;s the government&apos;s job to put someone away&quot; such an important principle that people all too easily forget about when discussing criminal defense. Defense lawyers are there to keep the government honest and make sure the prosecution does its homework.
