  i lost it all from drugs, i lived in my car for a year which was not that hard for me it was a big oldsmobile,  and thats what got me on the road to recovery and i have been sober 21 yrs dec 30, 2023

  Tip regarding showers at truck stops: don’t be shy to ask truck drivers if they have a spare shower to give you. I drove for 7 years and always had so many that I never used them all. (they get a free shower with each fuel purchase)

  Im 63 living in my suv and i thank God i have shelter.  Praying i find housing. 🙏 i try to make an adventure out of it . ❤

  71-year-old retired disabled and I am a armchair traveler.... I can't travel like I could when I was younger so these videos help me with a sense of freedom.... thank you...

  Great video!!!!  From what you have shared, you have gone through a lot. But yet, you’ve got your sobriety and you always make the best of a bad situation. I am from a family of alcoholics that never tried to get sober. So I applaud you. And, as a person that has survived trauma myself, I know how hard it is to keep a positive attitude. You have my deepest admiration and respect.

  I'm a trucker and shower at Love's exclusively. Take your time. I've been doing this over thirty years and no one has ever tried to chase me out. I usually take an hour or so. I also van dwell whenever I get the chance. Love the channel!

  I moved out from and away from my fiance, who turned out to be an abusive alcoholic. If you ever need to talk, I am here. I have been out for four years this April. I had a 2 yr order of protection.  I would never go back. Will be praying for your safe travels.

  I have 25 yrs Food Service experience. Your dinner looked not only delicious, but very healthy. Cabbage, carrots, mushrooms, are loaded with vitamins and minerals. Beef for protein. Very smart cook.

  If you ask a driver they'll get you a shower.Most of us have free showers.I get people showers all the time.Some will say no but most will help you out.
