"We can always trust Anakin to do the right thing, but we can't always trust him to follow orders."

Outstanding writing.

Im so addicted to these that I had to rewatch all of Star Wars movies to get a remainder on what actually happened.

Moral of the story: Don't put a vulnerable boy in a position where he will clearly feel like a pawn.

These videos really illustrate what a tightrope Palpatine was walking. All it would have taken to undo his plans was SOMEONE, ANYONE, just doing the honest, good, decent thing and not acting with judgment impaired by politics, war, or self-interest. Palpy had them all figured and knew how they would act when given certain information or when something specific happened, and they played right into it EVERY. SINGLE. TIME. And yet, inversely, through all this, the Jedi Council, the Senate, everyone, was handed so many opportunities to just not be idiots, or to stop being crooked. And they just never took it.

Obi-Wan was really demonstrating their brotherhood in this one! Love to see it. Fantastic story my friend.

Obi-wan could have related to Anakin because of Satine's death.

What if the vote of No Confidence in Chancellor Vallorum failed and he redeemed himself?

What if the Jedi secretly added defences to the Jedi temple during the clone wars and managed to hold off the 501st and Skywalker long enough to escape Coruscant.
