  I think it’s important to note that while Americans have been shot in the streets, people are being held and denied habeas corpus, flock cameras and data centers are taking over our cities and towns and countless criminals including those of j6 have been released; that these officials who are meant to represent the very people whose rights are being trampled on are big mad enough that their call records were acquired in the process of investigating an assault on democracy and the People’s house, they need to have multiple hearings about it. Truly ridiculous. These folks are not for us or this country. They are only out for themselves.

  ABC could use this footage to do a real public service for the nation. A very useful tool would be a simple video, carefully edited to remove all of the bloviating, all of the chaff that's neither question nor answer, all of the insinuations, and all of the interruptions of the witness's answers. I surmise that a video containing only footage of the questions asked,  immediately followed by answers given (with interruptions cut), in a simple sequence - question -> answer, repeat - would provide an opportunity to concentrate on the substance the hearing without having to endure the obscuring chaff.

  If you think there's any instance that GOP did anything to discredit Smith, you're lying to yourself.  Worst failures....Graham, Schmitt, Kennedy, Grassley, Cruz.  Donald doesn't get it.  He's going to prison after leaving office.  Period.  So will most of his family, cabinet, & others
