  One thing I did for my new WH was to install a powered anode rod. That is far superior to the magnesium and aluminum rods that come with the tank. It’s one and done. Most people are unaware that you should replace the metal anode rods  every 3-5 years to get more life from the tanks. You do (almost always ) need an impact wrench to get the factory installed one out (unless you have a pet gorilla).

  I have never watched an installation.  But if I needed one installed, after watching the care and precautions you take, and giving the excellent presentation,  you would be the one I would call to take care of it. I would know it would be done correctly and I would feel safe in knowing everything would work correctly and I would not be electrocuted in my bath.  Thank you for an excellent video!

  I am sure the next guy is going to love that the owners requested their electric heater be placed on a stand when he has to try and drain and move their now sediment filled tank.
