Talking about sauvy b while showing a bottel of Chablis, i.e. Chardonnay - peak AI slop. Also, calling Marlborough a "hot southern zone" is a bit of a stretch. Sure, it´s quite in the south, but that´s it. The Petrol note is in deed something typical for Riesling, but does not occur in all ripened Riesling and is considered a wine fault if it becomes to dominant, not a sign of "exceptional quality". While it is true that most Prosecco is produced in pressurized tanks, bottle fermentation is also very common for higher quality Prosecco. And you fogot to mention all the other sparkling wines (Cremant, Sekt, Spumante), or the important difference between spumante and frizzante. While a Tawny port might age for decades, most tawny sold is just 5 years old. Older Tawnys are actually a blend of wines with different age. The given age is an average of the blend. While talking about fortified wines, why not talk about Sherry, Madeira, Malaga etc. I am missing wines like Rioja/Tempranillo, Chianti/Sangiovese, Valpolicella or Barolo/Nebbiolo. What about Sauterne, Tokaj, Muscat or Gewürztraminer. Zinfandel / Primitivo, Gammay, Carignan, Viognier ... The wine world is so much bigger than these 16 minutes of slop.
