I REALLY like this dude. I have never heard Davante speak before but he's extremely self aware, intelligent and funny too. I hope he does a lot more of this when he retires.

My dad played in the league right before Clay Mathew’s dad played for the Browns. His resume: started 2 NFL Championship games, including the Ice Bowl, 3 Super Bowls. His last game was Super Bowl 10. His final season, his base salary was 36k. These kids better thank their elders that played for that kind of money, and held off season jobs, because it was their foundation that paved the way for generational wealth. But I will add, that money doesn’t mean your family will be better off. Be careful what you wish for.
