  I started my career as a piano player singer in Spain and it happened to be in the same area as well all the British gangsters were hanging out and at the hotel Atola of a Sunday &nbsp;i&apos;d do a Sunday lunch gig after I finished one gig Freddie Foreman came up and &nbsp;congratulated me for my piano playing<br>He was a very pleasant person to speak to and I had no idea who you was until later that day I read the papers that he was wanted that was way back in 1984<br>I had been playing for many Ganga embers including Ronnie Night and others but I distinctly remember Freddie as being a very nice gentleman I would never have dreamt that he was in the gang world when I spoke to him all those years ago<br>In any case I never had any problem with any of them they were always polite to me and showed a lot of respect

  I&apos;ve watched so many of these interviews with various underworld characters...and I have to say Freddie Foreman and Eric Mason are the only ones I can take 100% seriously. Never ones to boast about themselves. Then you listen to people like Frankie Fraser and all the stuff he used to come out with...harder to sort through the weeds for the truth.

  Fred was the only guy my father used to say was worth listening to as the others use to talk out of their arses, dad use to drink in Freddie’s pub the prince of wales and had great times with brown bread Fred.

  IMO Fred was way ahead of the twins and many other firms of his day, very sad when he talks about the funeral, I only read a few books on the twins and that&apos;s when I first heard of Fred I assumed he went into straight life and faded away, Little did I know ,i Remember in 1989 I was watching the 100:pm news when Fred is filmed In Heathrow when the Spanish Govt drugged and kidnapped him and threw him out, He had to have made millions I wonder how much he saw of it?

  When you listen to Fred, you can&apos;t help liking him. I have no time for krays. They were very dodgy &nbsp;with all the young boys.
