Putting a "if you control no monsters/cards" clause on alot of these hand traps would fix a good chunk of them from being abused going first.

Archetypes should net be designed to kill you in 1 turn. Like Josh said, every rogue deck at this point has a game plan to OTK you. And even if you don't manage to do it, you can just bridge into 2-3 generic engines with almost everything.
