Welcome to our in-depth, verse-by-verse Bible study through the book of Romans. In this teaching, we dive deep into Romans 10:14-21, titled “Faith Comes By Hearing and Hearing By The Word of God,” with the subtitle “How to Walk by Faith.” Join us as we unpack this powerful passage, exploring how faith is ignited through the preaching of the Gospel and how we are called to live by faith as believers. In this study, we build on our previous exploration of Romans 10:9-13, where we discussed the process of salvation—confessing Jesus as Lord and believing in His resurrection. Now, Paul shifts focus to how we live out our faith daily, emphasizing that salvation is the same for both Jews and Gentiles. Through a series of rhetorical questions, Paul outlines the divine process of salvation – From God sending preachers, to the proclamation of the Gospel, to hearing, believing, and calling on the name of the Lord. Key Sections: 1. Romans 10:14-15: How can people call on Jesus if they haven’t believed? 2. Romans 10:16-17: Not everyone obeys the Gospel 3. Join us as we explore how faith comes by hearing and how God is calling us to be His messengers in a world that desperately needs the Gospel.
