The views from the fire tower look absolutely spectacular on a clear day like that. It's really cool seeing the ruins of the old cabin along the way too. Thanks for sharing the great trail details and the helpful reminder about tick prevention. Safe travels on your last couple of fire towers to finish the challenge!

Great to hear you’re basically done with this challenge! That was quite a few hikes and miles. Pretty hiking along the creek there. Great tips for when there are ticks in the area- we’ve got those sprays also - thankfully we don’t have ticks in western WA, but we do in eastern. Great to see the fire tower and views! ⭐️⭐️ Nice drone work!!👌👍👍😄 Jen

Superbe vu depuis la tour de guet. J'aimerais ne pas avoir de problème de jambes pour faire de superbe randonnées comme toi. Bravo, tes vidéos sont toujours magnifiques.

Timing on this is perfect, haha, as I was deciding between this hike for the fire tower challenge or a Catskill 3500 peak last Friday. Opted for the Catskill peak, but after seeing your video I know I want to make time for Vanderwacker as well. The views from the tower are beautiful. Great video!

Did this one last year, and the only place to stay safe from the black flies was the cabin. The drone footage was nice to see. This was one hike where you get to see the summit from the bottom when you are hiking through the marshy area. The drive in was a bit bumpy from what I remember too:)
