  Explaining to your young child that you sacrifice your own birthday for them IS abusive. Explaining that your efforts are insufficient to support the family is honest and puts the responsibility as the adult squarely where it belongs.<br>But sure, tell your kids that you SACRIFICE your own cake and presents because of THEM. That&apos;s not just lying it&apos;s manipulation and it&apos;s abuse.

  Listening to her critizing the public school system not for the plethora of valid reasons it&apos;s worthy criticism but because it provides structure for her kids and holds high expectations is very telling of her values and the lifestyle they&apos;re living.<br><br>It also tells me she herself was probably absent from school the day she was meant to learn what the word resilient means.
