I lived in Moradabad for 6 year, great people, great food. From Alam biryani in non-veg to Gupta ji roti vale in veg segment are some of the old time classic. Food culture specially in Muslim nabourhood are great and people are also nice, caring and welcoming. As i was teacher in moradabad, muslim kids/ Nabours used to bring kilos of delicious biryani during EID . Thanks to moradbad i gained almost 20 kg , all because of deliciou food there is to offer.

I tasted this biryani 6 months back in Delhi. Now I'm in love with it. I love the subtle flavours this biryani has. Best of all, you can eat this everyday and it doesn't feel heavy. Love it with the red chutney.

I like the Moradabadi biryani which is like the Yakhni pulao. Even the red chutney goes well with it. Arabian biryanis or pulaos are also similar, drier, fragrant and about the flavor of the meat, like the Mandi. Even there they serve the mandi with a salata or dakkous which is a tomato-based chutney.
