Imagine being a teenager and becoming a fan because of her new songs. Then finding out she's got a whole entire catalogue of hit songs, hit albums, amazing videos, world tours, performances, era-defining moments... She's really the only artist still alive and thriving who became huge during a time when CDs weren't even invented. All we had were cassette tapes and LPS. Long may she reign. Love life The Queen. Madonna.

In a time when visuals barely matter anymore, Madonna shows up with a whole film for 6 songs. This is what music video culture used to mean—she’s showing us once again why she’s the last TRUE POPSTAR!

And there you go; winning 7 awards out of the 13 nominated. Madonna dominating the VMAs after 40+ years into her career is insane. Never thought I'd see that again. Proving that age is superficial if you can still do it. Here's to you Madonna. 🥂
