Thank you Open Studios and Mr Fortner. This is a great format, should become a series in itself "5 desert island tracks"

What a time to be alive, I could listen to this man for hours. Thanks for uploading such a refreshing video.

it's so cool how he could definitely excellently play and give dry theoretical harmonic explanations of all the music but is instead focusing on the gestural and dramatic aspects instead, "using the melody as a stabilizer" is such a brilliant observation

Sullivan has got to be my favorite jazz pianist of all time. I just love the way he does everything on the piano.

out of nowhere the Bach piece had me in tears. Glad to see it on your list 👌🙏

Dear Sullivan, my first piece is "Requiem" by Lennie Tristano (or Bird), second one is nearly any of Bill Evans (and Scott Lafaro), third one is Präludium und Fuge C-Dur from Well Termpered Klavier 1, forth one is Reflections on the Water by Debussy, fifth one is Prayer of Lativa Broadcasting Choir, which is more than you can believe.

Sullivan fortner is my second favourite pianist of all time - so it was lovely to see he is a fan of my number one - Erroll Garner
