  I grew up totally psychic but because I was raised in a very unsafe emotional environment, I shut it all down. Just NOW getting back to my roots at 56. Thank you for creating this space

  When I was 9, I suddenly knew my teacher was going to pass away on a day I stood next to him. I started crying and hugged him. I didn’t say the words. He died later in the day in a car accident. It was traumatic and I felt a sense of guilt. I broke my front teeth when I slipped on a dewy slide in the playground the next day. So I went into the school office that morning , everyone was crying and I didn’t know why. Then the news was shared with the students. My crowns are forever a reminder of this event. When I was young, I think I didn’t want the gift of knowing. I still have visit dreams from loved ones who have passed and dreams with messages or foreshadowing and it’s not often. I’m fine with my abilities as they are.

  I was terrified of the dark. My room came alive at night. This was before I was 5. Things floated around my room and I would leave my room to go to sleep on the stairs, or try and crawl into bed with siblings. I always felt like I was traveling in my dreams and had a separate life in the dreams. So fun listening to this and understanding.

  I remember being terrified of the dark and would not allow the light to be turned off until i had my blankets over my head. I had several incidents of beings standing in the doorway  one that was so tall, it filled the doorway. That's when i started hiding under the blankets. I have always had strange dreams, reoccurring dreams, rarely have i had a "normal" dream.  I'm 71 and they're still strange. I'm not afraid of the dark anymore, in fact i enjoy it, especially really early in the morning to meditate or at night to watch the stars. I blocked my psychic abilities for years growing up, but an NDE in 1988 started to up open me up again. i still struggle with blockages, but i don't want leave this life not knowing, excepting and using my gifts for a higher good. It's just not acceptable.

  My mom came from a long line of ppl with psychic abilities, &nbsp;she too was psychic.<br>When I started showing signs, seeing people...being deadly afraid, she took me to the GP who effortlessly prescribed sleeping pills to a 4/ 5 yr old. My mom claimed I was freaking her out.<br>Stilled pissed about it, she only told me this in my 30&apos;s. I&apos;m 50 now.

  I grew up in a home that was not spiritually safe. We were afraid of our home, and all had negative experiences there. I was always afraid as a child that something with bad intentions would talk in my ears when I was asleep. I am in my late 40s, and to this day I still cannot fall asleep without my ears covered up. I found out a few years back that my great grandmother, who I had in my life until she passed the week of my 16th birthday, could hear voices. She wasn&apos;t crazy. She was completely sound of mind. She was clairaudient. A couple years ago I had a session with a gifted person to look at my Akashic Records. She stopped abruptly during the reading, and said, I know this isn&apos;t a medium session, but there is a man here who is insistent on speaking. She said he kept pointing at his ears and saying, &quot;She can hear. She can hear&quot; meaning I was clairaudient. I also dream about things before they happen. Down deep, I know I shut off my gifts for survival as a child. I wish I knew how to bring them back full force.

  I was able to see things before they happened. I was told this was simply coincidence. It frustrated me and in a way I grew up feeling nobody listened to me. My Mom died a year and a half ago. Shortly after her passing she came to me in a dream. She was vibrant with her natural black hair and a bright red sweater. I was teying to tell my Dad and daughter to come say hello, that Mom was here. She said to me, &quot;It&apos;s ok if they don&apos;t see what you see.&quot; I can&apos;t tell u how much peace this brings 😌❤❤❤

  When I was a child, in that midway state between awake and sleep I would feel myself rising above my bed and start spinning. It’s hard to describe it because I was spinning both vertically and horizontally AT THE SAME TIME. It was slightly scary, but mostly a very unsettling experience. I don’t remember looking down on my body, and I don’t remember what happened after. This was a recurring experience that lasted for months and I have never experienced it again since then. I don’t remember asking it to stop but it wouldn’t surprise me if I did. And I never told anyone.
