He had the sickest roast line in promos with "I'VE SPENT MORE MONEY ON SPILLED LIQUOR IN BARS ON THE OTHER SIDE OF THE WORLD THAN YOU'VE EVER EARNED"

I always admired Ric for seeminly loving the part of the arrogant, conceited, status obsessed bastard - but always having the professional generosity to allow his character to get its comeuppance. The thing is that Bret and Sting (for example) were bizarrely protective of their self-styled hero personas. Surely it would be more fun to portray an unhinged scoundrel like Ric? Always my favourite.

I was in speech therapy for 10 years. I’ve learnt more about using my voice and how to talk in three years of watching Ric than those 10 years. More than 20 years of looking up to Ric. Tried telling him at a meet and greet this year but I was in tears and couldn’t get it out. This man made me who I am now.

I hated Ric Flair as a teenager, but even then I noticed when he came into different territories he would always prop up the territory titles as being the best in the world apart from his. As I got older I realized what truly great pro wrestler he was and how he made opponents look great. No matter how many times we say it , Ric Flair is truly "THE MAN" WOOOooooooo!!!!🎉😊😊😊

During my youth, I thought “this is a bad guy”. Now I realize this guy is a legend, because he carried pro wrestling and made everyone around him look good.

He had another catch phrase that I can never find videos of. On WCW Saturday Night, sometimes he’d be in the main event against a high midcarder and after being in the defensive for half the match, he’d yell out “and NOW it’s time to go to school! WOO!” before taking control of the match.

I used to love saying that before I left the house in the mornings as a kid.😂

Whether he was a heel or a face, Ric Flair is one of the greatest and most entertaining wrestlers that has ever existed. Often imitated, never duplicated, one in a billion.

10:20 Ric Flair had to add "if you're 18 and over." Just in case 😂

He's like the Undertaker, 1 of a kind. There will never be someone who can truly replace him. Many have tried, including his daughter, but nobody can truly replace him.
