  I really appreciate how quiet you are, the space you allow for guests to speak and think. Tgis fella starts mentioning a book, you know exactly what book but do not follow tge urge to jump in like most. Wait til he starts asking in a way, gosh I don't remember the author, boom, hit him with it, then quiet. Such great discipline. Especially these days no one shuts up to listen. Great work, that's not natural instinct, takes practice and reflection

  The term is called compartmentalization I am a retired 35 yr LEO saw a lot of dead bodies, people shot , poverty and the mind has a defense mechanism to put those experiences to the side otherwise your be impacted by it. On top of that you don’t want to be stigmatized  by the job if you let that stuff impact you mentally.

  Dalton is the best podcast host  IMO   Is focused on asking questions and letting the guest talk.   That takes discipline

  Dalton - thank you for interviewing the guest<br>too many podcasters find a way to make everything about themselves and using the guest as a soundboard to project their own ego.<br><br>I really appreciate you man- this podcast really gives value to the listeners time. <br>please don&apos;t ever change
