Great part of Valheim is that you can bring your character and their gear into other worlds. Meaning co-op runs or also starting in a new world doesn't mean you have to start a new character.

My son and I have played off and on since initial release. He does the builds, I gather resources, together we fight. At the end of our sessions we like to sit around a fire or in a long house and tell tales of our adventures. So not only have we had a ton of fun, but have both been inspired to learn more about Norse mythology.

Pro Tip: Time your dodges to get Trolls to knock down trees or bust up ore deposits for you. High risk/High reward.

Increasing the item drops helps a lot too , to reduce the grind.

Building a working fireplace required more effort than I imagined. Not only do you need to make sure the opening isn't above the fire because the rain will put it out, if there's not enough space above the fire, it will run out of oxygen and go out too.

10/10

Hardest habit to break going into a multiplayer server has been forgetting you lose your pause button.
