  I&apos;m an old retired Navy Chief (retired in 98). Afterwards, I became an elementary school teacher ( retired in 2018). With that in mind, I &apos;m not swimming in cash and I&apos;m on a limited budget. The new Forte speakers are more of a dream than a reality. However, I drove from Memphis to Atlanta for a pair of Forte II speakers. Completely refurbished and updated with ALK crossovers for $1500. This was absolutely the best audio purchase of my life. <br>Everything you said about these speakers is true. My speaker search is over.<br>I have a modest system paired with them. Musical Fidelity M2SI (no DAC and no tuner, only 60 watts, I prefer the simplicity), Fluance RT85 turntable, Para sound zphono, Geshelli Labs J2, WiiM Mini, Cambridge AXC35 CD player.<br>Cheap to some, but heaven to me.<br>I am a big fan, keep up the great work 😎

  Can confirm! I love my Forte IVs. Powered with a Decware SE84UFO25 tube amp. My streamer and pre-amp is the WiiM Ultra. They all pair beautifully together. Going from several class A/B amps and an ARCAM class D amp, to tubes (Decware) was a HUGE change and made everything sound 10x better. Forte&apos;s sounded great on all the amps I&apos;ve thrown at it, but there really is something special about tubes with Klisch&apos;s Heritage series. &nbsp;The soundstage became so deep, the speakers completely disappeared, instrumentation separation was out of this world, and voices felt present in the room. &apos;Seven Years&apos; by Nora Jones put her right in my living room. &apos;Fortnite&apos; by Taylor Swift wraps my entire body in warm synthsizers and her dreamy voice. The reverb on Roger Daltrey&apos;s voice on &apos;Getting in Tune&apos; by The Who makes his voice just trail off into darkness in such a magical way - and The Who sounds epic, loud, beefy, and electric.

  The first time I heard the Forte’s was at probably the same showroom in Houston that you referenced(Grid Hi Fi?). I was comparing the Fortes and the Sonus Faber Sonetto V’s side by side. After listening to the Sonetto’s they put the Forte’s on and within 15 seconds, I think it’s the first time I ever instantly smiled and said wow listening to a speaker. It was like a blanket had been lifted off the music and the sound was coming from way outside the speakers. I was truly awestruck. Been dreaming about owning a pair ever since. They are made out of Cant-afford-ium. 🤷🏻‍♂️

  Love my Forte IIs . &nbsp; Purchased in 1994. &nbsp;Will never part with them.. So efficient and they play rock in your face so incredibly well..

  I was walking home one Sunday afternoon and saw a garage sale sign at one of my neighbors, who I didn&apos;t know. &nbsp;Popped into his dublex and saw these big speakers and said what&apos;s the deal on these? &nbsp;He said he&apos;s moving and doesn&apos;t want to haul them &nbsp;to his new girlfriend&apos;s place so they have to go. &nbsp;How much? &nbsp;Fifty bucks! &nbsp;I had no idea what they were but knew the brand Klipsch were solid, so said I&apos;m getting my car and will be right back. &nbsp; Had them ever since and I continue to go aah as soon as the amp clicks them on. &nbsp;Forte II&apos;s rule!

  I&apos;m so glad you discovered the Forte IV&apos;s! &nbsp;Yes, they are expensive but if you shop carefully, deals can be found. &nbsp;In another way, when you get a speaker than has the dynamics and, as you say, &quot;magic&quot; of the Forte IV&apos;s that compare very favorably to others costing three and four times as much, well, then they start looking pretty economical. &nbsp;<br><br>Now, use them with a nice 300B SET amp. &nbsp;The soundstage seems to do impossible things in my room. &nbsp;Instruments appear in places where it seems they could not. &nbsp;In perfect loveliness.<br><br>Until we can buy nirvana, then this isn&apos;t a bad substitute. &nbsp;(And, yes, Nirvana sounds fantastic on them, too!)
