  I was a trauma nurse for a number of years here in the United States. The development of seizures can be a blast injury. You don&apos;t have to have a visible exterior blast injury for there to be injury. She spoke of the explosion right before her capture that damaged her hearing for three days… The seizures wouldn&apos;t manifest right away ... it would take time. <br><br>Thanks be to God for her deliverance.

  I remember watching her mom’s first interview and her mom saying that she just knew with all her heart that her daughter was still alive and would get home. The interviewer asked her how she knew this. The mom said because Mia is a fighter, she’s smart, and she’s tough. Here is the proof! By Gods grace, she’s home and alive!

  The fact that she was able to remain composed after telling all the horror she survived, &nbsp;but she break down and cried when he remembered leaving and feeling bad for the rest of the hostages being kept there, says a lot about her beautiful spirit

  i am a man 54 y old. ive seen it all. i served in afghanistan and iraq. but i cried watching this. i wish her a speedy recovery. god bless her and all the remaining hostages.

  It made me cry when she cried about the other hostages. She was so unbelievably stoic while explaining everything else. Obviously, she&apos;s disconnected because of trauma. But that the hostages is what broke her... <br><br>Really touched me.

  Such a strong young woman! Unbelievably she stayed strong talking about all her pain and suffering but breaks down talking about leaving others still captive. So grateful all the hostages are home now I hope those she left were among those who were still alive when they came home
