  Auri, I keep thinking about the father and son, but especially the teenage son. When he comes home and sees his house so dramatically transformed, no doubt he feel like somebody lifted a huge burden off his back. You probably saved the kid’s sanity. Hopefully they get a cleaning person to come in regularly and keep the place from turning back into a landfill.

  The daughter needs to hire a carpet cleaning service now while the rooms are clean and neat.  In the son's room it might be best to replace the carpet with linoleum so it is easier to clean.  The most desperate need seems to be for grief counseling for both the father and son.  I hope they get better.  Thanks to you they have a much better chance for recovery.

  I need to give a shoutout to my wonderful mom. My dad died when I was 9 and my mother was already chronically ill. Shortly after his death she had to have dialysis every other day. She became so frail and had so low energy. But she didn´t let the flat get dirty. Luckily we had only a small one. She did as much she could, also good, healthy cooking and I helped her as much as a kid aged 9, 10, 11, 12 could. Sometimes she hired a cleaning woman (we couldn´t afford it regularly) or some relative came and helped, mum never failed to give them at least a little bit of money. By the age of 12, I could do a lot of household tasks on my own already. Mum died when I was 12,5 years old, but despite her grief and illness she somehow managed, with a lot of willpower, to make a nice home and a good life for us. When you see how Auris clients struggle, you can imagine how tough my mom was, how determined, how mentally strong. I had to think of her, when Auri mentioned, that she thinks, the mother is still present in this house. Sorry, that it is a little off topic. Thank you Auri for continually helping those people!

  I’m begging my grandma to let me set her up with you Auri. She needs it so bad but I’m trying not to push her too hard. I haven’t seen her house in years but I know it’s not in a livable condition right now. I’m so worried we’ll miss out on our one opportunity to get her some help. She won’t let me help but maybe maybe I might convince her to let you

  The black flat thing on the stove that you threw away is called Stove Guard and it’s supposed to make it easier to clean the stove top. You just rinse it off and put it back on the stove. Just wanted to let you know in case you run across this again. Wonderful effort in cleaning this house. You are my hero!

  Any large town would have &quot;senior services&quot; to help this poor gentleman. Maybe even &quot;meals on wheels&quot;. There are social services he could use. Even a counselor to help him heal from his grief.<br>Grief can absolutely paralyze you. This is so sad. Thank you for being an angel.

  Wanted to point one thing out, there are so many more comments blaming the parent when it&apos;s a single mom but when it&apos;s a single dad y&apos;all turn all mellow. This is the dad&apos;s fault, that boy&apos;s childhood was really bad because he didnt take care of him and his living condition.
