I’ve watched a lot of off‑road tests of the 2026 Dacia Duster / Bigster G150 4x4, and one thing keeps puzzling me. Why are so many of these vehicles being tested on low‑profile all‑season tyres mounted on 18‑inch wheels? If you fitted them with proper A/T tyres on the OEM‑spec 17‑inch wheels, with the correct sidewall height, the off‑road performance would be noticeably better. It feels like the tests aren’t showing what these cars are actually capable of.

Where is the mud ? Just a wet road 😅 Anyway, very decent perf., better than most SUVs, regardless the price. That wheel braking is pretty aggresive.

The offroad '4x4 lock' mode is really impressive! Toyota's offroad mode is much worse than Dacia's it seems.
