My family emigrated to Australia in 1970 under the immigration scheme. We had to attend an interview at Australia House in London and take a health examination to prove we wouldn't be a burden on the Australian health system during the interview we saw a film on the Australian people and the Australian culture and values lastly we were required to swear an oath that we would live by Australian law and assimilate into the Australian way of life. I love this country and lived and worked as a proud Australian. Why isn't this done now.

I hope people see this and hear what Pauline actually says. It is just plain old common sense, honesty, and decency. Unlike nearly every other politician, she answers questions simply and in ful ... no lies or propaganda or trickery. No word salads.
