About Bob Barker's cameo, they asked him about it, and he said, "Who wins they fight?" and they said, "You do." "I'LL DO IT!" .... Then, they said "Don't worry we'll have a stunt double." and he said "No way, I know how to fight! I wanna do it!" He's said since the movie came out in 96, until he retired in 07, not ONE show went by where someone didn't ask about Happy Gilmore. (During the commercial breaks)

Shooter McGavin is unironically one of the all-time greatest sports movie antagonists ever. He's just so easy to hate. All credit to Christopher McDonald for playing such a memorable bad guy.

This movie is just one of Adam Sandler’s classic comedies, with even a sequel on the way.<br>Personally, this was my favorite line of the movie;<br>Shooter: I eat pieces of sh- like you for breakfast.<br>Happy: You eat pieces of sh- for breakfast?<br>Shooter: … no.

I was in high school when this came out but my father was an avid golfer, and he said the driving ranges for the first couple months after this movie came out were really interesting. There were plenty of people trying to hit the ball like this with pretty hilarious results.
