The rich artists in the past 20 years have done the following: started their own label and signed other acts, gone solo, diversified into other industries. Look at 50, Dr Dre, Rihanna, Beyonce, TI, etc...

It's insane how the music industry is set up to enrich the record labels while the actual creators get left with pennies. People see luxury cars in music videos and assume these artists are set for life, when in reality it's all debt and predatory contracts. Thanks for breaking this down! 💯
