Storm Surge can in fact proc your dark harvest from one Q (assuming it hits the hp threshhold). Problem is: takes an additional second or two :(

It DOES have a bit more ability haste than Lich Bane as well, so there is that. It won't apply your stacks a second time, since Q damage isn't an "on-hit" effect, and there aren't a whole lot of big AP on hit items, most of them have fairly low AP and attack speed which isn't as important on 1-shot nasus. Nashor's does effectively add 30% AP to your Q with dusk and dawn, and gives ability haste, it's pretty bad for survivability and gap closing though on nasus. It's really a shame that most of the good utility items on nasus are AD or tank.
