I stayed in one, 2005, when backpacking. It was a 3 star hotel above ground with about 6 stories. <br>Also had cheap backpacker rooms with shared bathrooms, below ground.<br>I was 4 stories underground. <br>The lift had buttons for -1, -2, -3 etc.<br>Utterly shit room, but it was 20 minutes walk from Tiananmen square
