“Saitama’s bullshit is only in his own world. Popeye’s bullshit is just everywhere!”

That is honestly the most accurate statement on how this fight was determined! No joke! 😂

We've all known this for over 90 years. You don't fuck with Popeye the sailor man.

"Might be worse than Mario and Peach."

Literally, Mario's design was directly based on Popeye. MIyamoto wanted to make a Popeye game, but couldn't get the rights, so he changed Bluto to a big ape, Olive Oly to an anonymous "Lady", and Popeye to a little fellow named...well, at first, Jumpman, but he soon acquired the name Mario. And the rest is history.

Honestly, Popeye looks good for his age, considering how he looked at birth.

Popeye used to bully Pre-crisis Superman back in the day, before Crisis on Infinite Earths. Popeye also created Mario, as Donkey Kong (Arcade) was supposed to originally be a Popeye Game.

13:36 Whaler Joe was a character from the original E.C Segar Popeye stories who never appeared in the strip but was reference in The Private Life of Popeye or Popeye's Life Story, a short series of promotional prose pieces released in March 1931 that contained detailed info, trivia and artwork from E. C. Segar about Popeye's personality, his looks and his past from the moment of his birth to the day he became a sailor, mostly written from Popeye's perspective as though he were telling his life's story to an interviewer. We never got any reference to Whaler Joe's physical appearance until a strip in the Popeye's Cartoon Club in 2020.

There is actually a comic where (legally not) Popeye beats Superman. This happened in a canon Pre-Crisis comic.

17:44 The biggest number was actually Vigintillion in Hulk vs Broly. Second biggest being Novemdecillion in the Mega Man Battle Royale.
