The manga has commonly been called &quot;Ness&apos;s Great Adventure&quot; likely because of an old Starmen forum post, but &quot;Ness&apos;s Adventure Memoirs/Log&quot; is a more correct translation of the title.

  I like to imagine that Picky doesn&apos;t leave his room ever since that night because he was traumatized by the whole alien thing. His parents fucked off and didn&apos;t care if he joined them or not. So Ness&apos; mom and sister would visit him frequently enough to make sure that he&apos;s cared for and he grows up to be a decent man because of them.

  Picky, the absolute king, going in to directly punch a Starman with his bare hands. I feel like he would still hang out with Ness after the game events.

  I really appreciate your more sympathetic angle towards Picky. I know a lot of people just assume he&apos;s a knob like his older brother, but like you said, there&apos;s a lot more depth to this kid that I think a lot of us trauma&apos;d folk can relate to. I see kid me in Picky a heck of a lot.<br>However, having a positive role model really helped me see who I could be if I started working on myself, so seeing Picky admire Ness and want to be like him, it makes me hopeful for the little dude!<br>If he ever makes a cameo in a future game (as if they&apos;re ever gonna happen lol) It would be nice if he were to become a genuinely well-adjusted adult - I like to imagine he runs a little youth centre in Fourside so he can help any kids who are in a situation like his.

  Picky’s a textbook glass child imo. Since Porky’s the problem child (bratty, lashes out, insecure, etc.,), Picky would internalize it by being “invisible”to his parents to feel safe. He doesn’t act out, he’s humble, and he’s a lot more responsible despite being a lot younger. I’d like to think that his design reflects this too. Compared to every other Minch, Picky’s very plain looking in comparison.

  The magic spell chant thing just gave me a headcanon that Picky felt something in his head and tried to tap into his PSI/PK powers to assist Ness. Just a theory.
