Meet The Hawks!

Meet The Hawks! The 2026 Harlingen South football season is getting ready to kick off, and this video captures the players, coaches, families, and school spirit surrounding the program before the season begins. From introducing the Harlingen South Hawks freshman, JV, and varsity football teams to performances from the cheer team and Southern Stars dance officers, Meet The Hawks is all about celebrating the athletes and the community supporting them. Head Coach Israel Gonzalez also shares a message with the crowd, recognizing the families behind the coaching staff and talking about the growth, dedication, and work these players have put into the Harlingen South football program. Later in the video, things get a little more casual as I spend some time on the field capturing candid moments with the players and families and talking with some of the Hawks about the upcoming Bird Bowl. As someone who enjoys documenting our community here in Harlingen and the Rio Grande Valley, these are the moments I love being able to capture—the people, the families, the athletes, and the excitement surrounding South Texas high school football.
