If you sit and realize that a person without sleep start to hallucinate between 24 and 36 hours, then the lore of this game starts to have even more sense, since wierd thing start since day 2.

I think a good explanation for why the world seemed to get weirder the more days that went by was because the player character was falling into a state of sleep deprivation psychosis which was caused by their insomnia. Hallucinations begin after 36 hours of no sleep. After 72 hours, hallucinations worsen and you can have delusions.

I'm about to be a neuroscience major in college, the human brain is simply fascinating to me so I found this game very interesting.

Okay, kinda random, but when I played this game, and got to The Horizon (the flower patch), while walking around, I deadass started singing “A whole garden of flowers and my name etched on a rock” (Hansel by Sodikken) and as soon as I said “my name etched on a rock”, I found the grave. I was flabbergasted.

Ah I'm pretty sure that the good ending is you finally sleeping, and the bad ending is you... well... R.I.P. (resting in peace) after suffering from the insomnia to the point you went mad.
