“Rockere” is the danish equivalent word to “Biker gang”, so Bandidos, Hells Angels et cetera is called “Rockere”.

Svinene/The Rockers is truly some of the best danish satire out there! Thank you for showcasing it for a non danish audience, even though quite a bit of the humor is lost in the translation. The best comedians in the world are always able to masterfully play with the language and cultural associations (fx when this was made, biker gangs in Denmark were very big and notorious and a big part of danish criminal history), so it makes sense some of the magic gets lost when you translate it. Thank you for making an earnest effort at understanding danish comedy/humor.

Unfortunately so much is lost in translation due to the intricacy of the Danish language. That goes for a lot of the stuff you've been reacting to.

However, it's still commendable you keep watching so much of our comedy.

There´s a saying here that if three Danes meet, they make a club. Chairman, Cashier and Secretary. We are a nation of clubs about all kinds of interests

5:06 This is exactly right. Also, I'm happy you covered this one. It's Danish gold. I think you're right about similarities to British humor. At least, it makes a lot more sense to me than American humor does, anyway.

I really love that you are taking your time to understand danish humor. I just have to say to you, that a lot of it is based on different danish accents and similar core danish things. so its fun to see how you react to it and at least sometimes think its funny..

You should watch "Cykelholdet" from the same comedy group. 05:30 think about it; how tough are bikers, needing a group to feel strong and tough? Why do they not fit into normal society?

And if you are afraid of needles; never join the military. Congrats to Charlie and you.
