Household real estate value increases is just another name for inflation

Debt—>money creation—>inflated asset prices= inability for the median earner to finance the median home. Inflated stock prices without earnings to support them.

Government spending didn’t push the value up on stocks and real estate. Rather, it pushed the value of the dollar down.

I’ve never put that together “more debt = more wealth = more inequality”

All I see in the chart @2:30 is oligarchy happening. The people own the debt, the elite own the money. A true timeless classic.

The difference is the distribution. Public debt is owned by everyone equally. Private assets are owned by the very few. This means the rise in the net worth of the few, is financed by the debt of the masses.

This would be a lot more compelling if inflation was discussed in parallel to the government spending and the household income. If increases in government debt devalues the dollar and results in inflation, then the increased household income that follows could be largely nominal. Even if there is an inverse relationship, the gaps may be grossly exaggerated without accounting for inflation.

I've long suspected that debt is the culprit to wealth inequality. You just confirmed that!
