Here at Mobile TV, we bring you a serene sanctuary where you can experience the ancient Buddhist tradition of Pirith recitations. Pirith, also known as Paritta in Pali, refers to a practice of chanting and reciting the Buddha's teachings for protection, blessing, and peace. The term Pirith comes from the Pali word paratha, which means "to protect" or "to safeguard." It is believed that the power of Pirith lies in both the sound and the meaning of the verses, which embody the Buddha’s wisdom and compassion. There are many different Pirith chants, each of which highlights the Buddha's great qualities and the core values of his teachings. Some of these verses also convey positive messages for society, such as the importance of honoring one’s parents, the value of generosity, and the benefits of performing good deeds. These teachings help guide individuals toward ethical living and spiritual growth. The practice of reciting Paritta involves chanting the Buddha's wisdom, embedded in powerful verses, to bring peace and protection. The recitations are believed to dispel fears, misfortunes, and dangers, while bestowing blessings and tranquility on those who hear them. These verses are also known to create a protective shield around one's home and surroundings, safeguarding the community from harm. Historically, the Buddha himself recited these protective verses during times of epidemics and calamities to bring peace and healing to people. Over the centuries, Buddhist monks have continued this practice, recognizing the transformative power of these chants. It is believed that the recitation of the Buddha's Dhamma—his wisdom in the form of these verses—can bring healing, mental peace, and protection to anyone who listens or recites them. In Buddhist culture, the chanting of Pirith is considered a way to invoke the Buddha’s blessings for peace and safety. The recitations are not only a source of spiritual strength for the individual but are also a means of spreading goodwill and harmony among all living beings. By embracing the teachings embedded in these chants, we can cultivate a peaceful and protected life, blessed by the wisdom and compassion of the Buddha. May all beings be blessed with peace, protection, and tranquility through the power of Paritta! දිනපතා සෙත් පිරිත් අහන්න " මොබයිල් ටීවී " Youtube නාලිකාව Subscribe කර එකතුවෙන්න.
